Individual and also couple or other relationships therapy begins with an assessment session, designed to acquaint me with your background, current concerns, and aspirations for counselling. During this session, we will explore your motivations for seeking therapy and discuss your expectations for the process. This initial meeting serves as an opportunity for you to gauge your comfort level and determine if you feel a collaborative partnership with me is fitting for your needs. Establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is paramount to fostering emotional growth, and I prioritize cultivating an environment where you feel heard and supported.
Furthermore, this session gives you a chance to inquire about the therapeutic process and my approach to counselling. Upon deciding to proceed with counseling, we will coordinate a regular meeting time and day for our weekly sessions, ensuring consistency and continuity in our work together.
For the foreseeable future I only offer video and telephone consultations.
Availability Monday to Thursday, morning/ daytime, limited evening availability.
Fees
Individual session £85 for a 50 minute session.
For students and those on lower income fee is £65.
Couples weekly 60 minute sessions £100, biweekly 90 minute sessions £150.
